Portrait of Emily Anderson

A commission from last year - a portrait of Emily Anderson (1891-1962) for the Emily Anderson Concert Hall (formerly Aula Maxima Upper) at NUI Galway. Only one small photograph exists of her as an adult. She was an authority on Mozart and Beethoven and translated their correspondence. She was also the first Professor of German at University College Galway (now NUI Galway).
